Dr. Eddy grew up in Central NY and earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences at Marist College. Wanting to experience a new part of the country, Dr. Eddy then moved to TN where she pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Lincoln Memorial University. After 4 years in the south, she decided to move back closer to family and worked in a general practice/urgent care facility before joining us here at MVAH.

Dr. Eddy has a passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of her patients and their families. She believes that our pets play a crucial role in our lives and strives to provide them with the highest quality care they can receive. In her spare time, Dr. Eddy loves to be outside hiking, running, playing soccer, and being out on the water. When she is not outside, you can find her spoiling her “nephews” Theodore the Frenchie and Baxter, and her “niece” Sophie.

Dr Joseph Wilder is a 1990 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. He has worked in mixed animal practice, small animal practice, small animal relief work, and also spent a short time teaching at Cornell as an instructor. The majority of his time has been spent as a primary emergency doctor at a referral practice in Rochester NY. He became board certified in canine and feline practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in 1998, a certification he continues to hold today. He was recently appointed as a founding fellow in emergency practice by the ABVP. Dr. Wilder is married and has 3 adult children and lives with a menagerie of pets including 4 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, 3 goats and a chicken. His practice interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine and client education.

Dr. Picariello has been practicing veterinary medicine for nearly 17 years. She is one of those lucky people who always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age. After completing her undergraduate degree at Drew University, her sense of adventure found her at University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed her veterinary degree.

During that time, Dr. Picariello travelled around Europe and completed externships in small animal general practice, equine medicine and surgery, and bovine production medicine. Upon graduating from vet school in 2007, Dr. Picariello accepted a job in rural New York at a mixed animal practice for the first 5 years of her career. Thereafter, she accepted a position in small animal practice where she stayed for nearly 10 years, and was Chief of Staff for half of her time there. Like many, COVID made her reevaluate where she belonged in the veterinary community and how she wanted to practice. With that in mind, she spent 2 interim years practicing in Rochester before accepting her current position at Mendon Village Animal Hospital, where the hospital philosophy and practice style more closely aligns with her practice values.

Dr. Picariello strives to provide comprehensive care, and enjoys surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, and geriatrics. She is happiest educating and collaborating with clients for the benefit of her patients. She is also the proud owner of the best ginger cat named Nacho, a wayward Bearded Dragon, and an ornery Green Cheeked Conure. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her 2 amazing children, spending time outdoors, many athletic pursuits, and gardening.

As a child Amy always had a huge love for animals and the desire to care and comfort them. It was during elementary school and after several trips to Lollypop Farm with her Nana to visit the animals available for adoption that she decided to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. This was a decision that Amy never wavered from and eventually became a reality in 1999 when she obtained her associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Delhi. Amy began working at Mendon Village Animal Hospital right after graduation as a veterinary technician, later taking on the role as Practice Manager. The quality of care, knowledge and skill set of her team members is what makes Amy most proud to be part of the MVAH family. Amy and her husband Denny have two incredible children, Marissa and Caleb, they also share their home with a handsome yellow Labrador Retriever named Brady (football fans need not worry, Amy is a Buffalo Bills fan, her dogs name was not chosen for a certain NFL quarterback). Outside of work Amy has an intense love for camping, she also enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending her son’s sporting events and watching her daughter achieve her professional goals.

Camryn graduated from Medaille College in 2020 with an Associates and Bachelors degree in Veterinary technology. She began her career working at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center as an assistant and eventually transitioned to a Veterinary Technician. Camryn loves getting to know every patient and seeing them grow. She currently resides in Webster with her husband Cameron and son Colton along with her Border Collie mix, Milo and cat, Paisley. When not at work Camryn loves spending time outdoors with her family.

DJ received her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Medaille College in 2006. She has been part of the MVAH team as a veterinary technician since 2007. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, nutrition and animal behavior. DJ shares her home with her husband, son and two dogs, Harper and Anchor. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Dianne’s love for animals comes from growing up on a small dairy farm outside of Dansville, NY, which made her decision to work with animals an easy one. Dianne graduated from Alfred State College in 2008 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology, from there she began her career at Mendon Village Animal Hospital. As a veterinary technician Dianne has many roles to fill on a daily basis, although all are important the one she loves the most is assisting with surgery. Her goal each day is to make every animal feel comfortable, loved and safe while they are away from home. Dianne shares her home with her husband Nick and their two sons, Lawson and Landon. They also have a rat terrier mix named Olive, and two cats, Yeller and Rodney.

Jeni knew she wanted to work with animals from a very young age. She graduated from Alfred State College in 2006 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been part of the team at Mendon Village Animal Hospital since 2011. Of all the roles she fills as a veterinary technician, the role of caregiver is Jeni’s favorite. She makes it a priority to help every dog and cat she works with feel as comfortable and loved as possible. When not at work Jeni enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They share their home with a hound mix named Sadie and their cat, Black Jack.

Maureen, also known as Mo, wanted to work with animals at a very young age. She is happy to be working right near where she grew up in Honeoye Falls. She graduated from SUNY Delhi in 2006 with an associate's degree in Veterinary Technology.

Mo has been a member of the Mendon Village Animal Hospital family since 2014. Her special interests in veterinary medicine are anesthesia, surgery and cold laser therapy. Mo lives with her husband Paul and daughter Mila. She has twin adult bonus sons, Alaric and Gavin. Mo's household is full of many fur-children...4 mixed breed dogs: Sasha, Tikaani, Dixon, and Svedka and 2 cats Kitch and Hiro. When not helping animals at the clinic, Mo loves spending time with her family, being outside, gardening, and riding her motorcycle.

Megan’s love for animals began at a very young age, growing up with many dogs and cats (as well as a few salt water fish and other exotic animals). After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego, Megan’s compassion for animals guided her to go back to school and pursue her dream of becoming a veterinary technician. She graduated from Medaille College where she received her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology, and joined the Mendon Village Animal Hospital team in the beginning of 2017. Megan truly loves seeing the bond between an owner and their pet, and strives to improve and strengthen that bond by providing the best care possible. Megan grew up in the Chili area, and currently resides in Rochester with her husband Jeff, daughter Zana, two little papillons Poco and Reba, and their cats named Kitty and Tino. When she is not busy working Megan enjoys going to concerts, traveling, watching the Buffalo Bills, and spending time with family and friends.

Tonya has always loved animals and knew she wanted to work with them from a young age. Growing up, her family always had dogs, cats, and rabbits. She graduated from Alfred State College in 2019 with her associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology as well as an associate’s degree in Agricultural Technology. Out of her many roles as a technician, her favorite is caring for animals when they do not feel well. Tonya shares her home with her boyfriend Dan, her two cats, River and Suzy, as well as a rabbit, Copper. When not at work, Tonya enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, reading and enjoying the outdoors.

Aubrey grew up surrounded by animals on her family’s farms and in their homes. She realized growing up that she had a passion for the care of animals and how they communicated. When Aubrey graduated she had planned on joining the Marines in the K9 behavioral unit but her plans changed when she discovered her other passion, helping people. Aubrey worked in many different client service positions until joining Mendon Village Animal Hospital, which completes her goal of helping pets and their owners. Aubrey has 2 dogs and 5 cats and her passion for animals grows daily. She plans to continue her education in veterinary medicine/behavior management.

Lori has worked for Mendon Village Animal Hospital since 1999. Because she has had animals her whole life, it seemed most appropriate that her job would also involve taking care of them and helping people who share her love for them. Lori enjoys her work here and finds it very rewarding and interesting. Lori has a horse farm that consumes most of her free time. She enjoys riding her horses and taking care of them. She also has two dogs, Jessie and Finn, and a feral barn cat.

Lori rejoined Mendon Village Animal Hospital in early 2016 after working in the retail management field for 5 1/2 years. She greatly enjoys the daily interaction with clients and their animals and having the opportunity to constantly be gaining knowledge and skills to pass along. When not working she enjoys spending time with her partner, 2 children and traveling.

Gabby lives with her husband and two Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Gigi and Charlotte. She loves living in the Finger Lake region after spending 20 years in Columbus, Ohio where she and her husband raised their twin boys. While in Columbus she started working in the veterinary field at a wonderful vet hospital where she met her friend who breeds and shows Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers.

Gabby has always been fascinated by the vast array of dog breeds and she really enjoyed helping her friend at dog shows where she could see and learn about so many different breeds. When she and her husband moved back to the area and she was looking at nearby veterinary hospitals where she might want to work, she was so impressed with Mendon Village Animal Hospital that she knew that was the place for her. In her free time she loves hiking with her dogs and watching the New York Yankees.

Chaz knew growing up she wanted to work with children or animals. When the opportunity presented itself in 2011 to join the Mendon Village Animal Hospital team she happily accepted. She began her career at MVAH working as a receptionist and as years passed she found herself wanting to work more closely with the animals. She moved into the role of Exam Room Assistant and progressed into the role of Patient Care Advocate, working closely with the team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians to care for surgical patients. Chaz shares her home with her boyfriend Tommy and their two Pitbull’s, Roc and Abbey. When not at work Chaz most enjoys spending time outdoors.
